We reviewed the "Sakura Sakura" that we practiced last time, and tried out the foot clapping and the Otoko dance. In the second half of the class, international students from India also came to observe, and although the class was always large, the class became even more lively, and the classroom was filled with excitement. All the students greeted each other by sitting seiza, which was the first time for the international students to experience it, and they imitated what they saw and bowed.

| Nov 8th Thu Dao Jiang High School(Taiwan) -Special Course
Continuing from last time, Kumiko Tatsumi served as the instructor.
There were several students who took Japanese dance classes last year as well, so they took the initiative to help other students with dressing.
They also tried short songs, and although they struggled at first, they got the hang of it as they practiced repeatedly, and in the end they divided into three groups and gave presentations.
It was impressive to see how seriously they were working on it.

| Oct 24th Thu Dao Jiang High School(Taiwan) -Special Course
A special class for international students from Inahong High School has become an annual event.
This year we started with a kimono dressing experience.
This year was the first time for us to have a class in an environment where there were also male students,
but I was impressed by how they tried their best to imitate how to wear the kimono while referring to the example,
and at the end they happily took pictures of themselves in the yukata.
In the next class, we will experience Japanese Traditional dance"Nihon-buyo".

This time, We tried "dance" for the first time.
During practice, many students laughed as their knees made a popping sound,

We danced and showed off to each other.

Kumiko Tatsumi and Juho served as instructors this year as well, and in the first class they practiced dressing in kimono.
It felt like each student was carefully putting on and folding the yukata because they had each sewn it by hand in home economics class. I'm looking forward to seeing if they can wear it quickly next time.

| Aug 8th Thu. Tamagawa University exchange student Japanese dance experience
Kumiko Tatsumi gave a class in which students from Drexel University (USA), Evergreen State University (USA), and Griffith University (Australia) learned Japanese dance.
It was impressive to see the students excited by the Japanese atmosphere in the practice room, which was different from their usual classrooms, and impressed by the tatami and shoji screens they had seen for the first time.
I am glad that you had a fulfilling time.

Saiju Kiyomoto and Kumiko Tatsumi held a workshop for beginners that was well received last time.
Both those who participated for the first time and those who continued to participate from last time had a fun experience of shamisen and Japanese dance.

We held the Kumi-kai Yukata Party for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak.
It had been a while since the last time the event was held, but I felt that each and every participant, from third graders to people in their 80s, had practiced very hard for this day and gave it their all in the performance.

| June 23rd Sun. Hiro no Kai
The heavy rain in the morning had stopped by the time the venue opened, and many customers who look forward to this event every year came. The students of all ages, from those in their 90s to three years old, including those performing on stage for the first time, looked beautiful regardless of their age. At the end, the host, Hiroju, danced to "Nagauta Tatsumi Hakkei" and the show ended successfully.

| June 16th Sun. Sennokai/Senju Tatsumi Benkyokai
We were hit by a large earthquake on New Year's Day, and we considered postponing or canceling the meeting, but thanks to the owner, Senju,'s decision to move forward, we decided to hold the event as planned. This was the first time in two years that the event had been held, and the growth of the children was remarkable. The elderly people were as energetic as ever, and seemed to be feeling happy that they were able to dance safely. In the second part, "Senju Benkyokai" Senju was shown as Ume no Sakae, Tamaya with a special appearance by Iemoto Kumiko, and finally Senju Festival. The festival ended with two masks and great applause. I have heard that there are still areas in Toyama Prefecture where water is cut off and roads are not widely available. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster.

| June 5th (Wed) International Christian University High School Multi-Event
Tatsumi Kumiko and Kiyomoto Saiju held an event where they experienced Japanese dance and shamisen.
It was a very fulfilling class with a large group of students, full of enthusiasm. Even after the class was over, the students' eyes lit up as they experienced Japanese culture for the first time, playing the songs they had learned on the shamisen and dancing with the fan.

| May 12th (Sun) workshop
A workshop for beginners was held by Saiju Kiyomoto and Tatsumi Kumiko.
Each session was held in a friendly and friendly atmosphere that was unique to the small group size, and we had the opportunity to play the shamisen and experience the basic movements of Japanese dance.
Based on the many comments that "it was fun" and "I want to try it again," we are planning to release the second edition by the end of the year.

Extended School presentation was held.
This is a program for the Tamagawa Gakuen elementary and junior high schools taught by Jusyo Tatsumi and Kumiko Tatsumi.
The children in the upper grades took the initiative in helping the children in the lower grades get dressed.
After the dance, it was impressive to see so many children smile and say, "I was nervous, but it was fun."

| Feb. 17th Sat Keiwakai Japanese dance recital
A Japanese dance recital was held by Suginami no Ie Nursery School, which is taught by Kumiko Tatsumi, and four other affiliated schools.
Before the dance started, some children were so nervous that they cried and some had stiff faces, but by the time they finished dancing, they all looked confident.
I was overwhelmed by the growth of the children over the past two years.
